Scott is a licensed General Contractor and Colorado native. He's committed to building trust through exceptional quality work and transparent communication throughout every project.
With a family legacy in the construction industry spanning generations, he brings a wealth of experience and dedication to his craft.
As the president of Sandstone Homes, the sister company to Sandstone Construction, Scott leads with a vision for excellence in both real estate and construction.
A graduate of Colorado State University, Scott has also gained valuable experience working with prestigious institutions such as Goldman Sachs.
Hunter Smith
Project Manager / Senior Marketing Coordinator
Hunter is a licensed General Contractor and proud Colorado native. Known for his meticulous attention to detail and expertise in construction management, Hunter excels in overseeing complex construction projects from start to finish, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are consistently met. His project planning skills are complemented by clear communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
Hunter’s marketing efforts focus on building strong relationships and expanding brand awareness to grow his construction business.
While construction is his primary focus, his background in Environmental Graphic Design and experience at the award winning ArtHouse Design add a creative layer to his practical construction skills.
Angel Gonzalez
Company Administrator / Accountant
Insightful and intuitive, Angel is responsive to clients’ needs while delivering effective solutions. He views himself as an integrated partner of Sandstone on every project and works to build a rapport with every client.
Angel has provided accounting services for real estate funds, including one of the biggest developers in NYC. He graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas, and has worked for prestigious institutions, including Baker Tilly.
Angel is also a licensed real estate agent who is responsible for the purchasing and selling of fix-and-flips and buy-and-hold residential and commercial properties. Angel is also the real estate agent of Sandstone Homes, the sister real estate company to Sandstone Construction.
Peter Mazeika
Strategic Partner / Owner at Weststone, LLC
Peter has a strong background in construction, business development, finance, and real estate. He has worked with top firms like Deloitte & Touché and Goldman Sachs, bringing extensive experience in financial analysis and strategic planning. With an MS in Accounting and Information Management from The University of Texas at Dallas, Peter is also a certified public accountant.
At Weststone, Peter focuses on business development, client management, and investments. He is also a strategic partner for Sandstone Construction, contributing his expertise to help drive success across multiple sectors.
Scott Jones
Project Manager
Scott Jones is a licensed General Contractor and Colorado native with extensive experience building custom homes throughout Montana and Colorado. Known for his attention to detail and visionary approach, Scott has earned a reputation for crafting high-quality homes that stand the test of time.
At Sandstone Construction, Scott leads with a commitment to excellence, overseeing every aspect of construction. His passion for building, coupled with years of experience, drives the success of each project.
Beyond construction, Scott has contributed to the biotech industry, including helping build and sell biotech companies like Dharmacon to Thermo-Fisher. He holds a degree in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry from the University of Colorado, blending scientific precision with his love for building.
Tom Disney
Super Intendent / Estimator
Tom is a licensed General Contractor and Colorado native with extensive experience in residential and commercial construction. He takes pride in his construction knowledge and finding solutions to customer needs.
With over 8 years of project engineering with Faurot Construction, Tom has the tools to tackle projects of all sizes.
